> The Purity Test has historically served as a segue from O-week to true college life at Rice [University]. It's a voluntary opportunity for O-week groups to bond, and for students to track the maturation of their experiences throughout college.

Is that in any way related to the Official MIT Nerd Test from the early 90s?

- Unironically considered whether Feng shui is negatively affecting your productivity
- Concluded that Feng shui must be negatively affecting your productivity

I got quite a few points and I don't even live in SF!
- Slept on a mattress with no frame - I had a long "Who's even gonna know?" phase
- Attempted a sauna - I've been in one at a hotel that had one
- Drank Soylent - It's good for conventions
- Explored the quality of AI girlfriends - I tried ERP with a local Llama instance, it's not great. Total RAM hog too.
- Taken Adderall to boost productivity - Prescribed Adderall, even
I haven't written a "date me" doc though. When I sit down and really think what I offer in relationships, it's hard to recommend that anyone should date me lol
I got a 94 / 100. I don't know if that means I'm very pure or very online.

Matress with no frame in my early student days.
More people than bedrooms ever since I got married.
Saunas. Absolutely. I love a relaxing day at the sauna.
One other that I forgot. And a few that I think I really should look into.

It's funny to think how different the equivalent would have been when I came here. Probably a lot more about the web (and open source) than about AI and cryptocurrency. That was, I guess, a full generation ago now!

It was a much different place in late 90s/early 2000s.

Getting coffee in South Park, maybe, but not Blue Bottle itself.

I can’t answer yes to nearly any of the questions. A reminder of how fast things and trends evolve.
* Taken a meeting at Buck's
* Received a check or term sheet at Buck's
* Ate at Zareen's more than 3 times in one week
* Taken an Uber/Lyft from San Francisco Caltrain station to South Bay after missing your train
* Complained about how Waymo doesn't go to South Bay
* Reminisced about Antonio's Nut House
* Googled Antonio's Nut House after hearing someone reminisce about it
* Went to a Stanford talk
* Went to a Stanford talk and actually understood the material
* Made a LinkedIn connection from pickleball
* Said "I'm gonna move to the city" because you can't pull on the peninsula
But a lot of the originals still work for South Bay, even though people probably haven't done as many of them
